Patrick Mahomes‘ mom has found a buyer for the athlete’s childhood home—after slashing her asking price in a bid to make the quaint Texas property more alluring.
Just days after the ask for the 1,475-square-foot abode, where the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was raised alongside his brother, Jackson, was cut by $5,000, Realtor.com® can exclusively reveal that it is under “contingent” offer, although the identity of the buyer is not yet known.
The Texas home, which the NFL star, 29, moved to with his family at age 11, was initially listed in April with an asking price of $285,000. Last week, it was reduced to $279,000.
Randi initially made the choice to sell the Tyler, TX, dwelling after Mahomes; his wife, Brittany, 29; and his brother, Jackson, 24, gifted her with a brand-new $825,000 mansion in March.
In a statement shared with Realtor.com, Randi explained that the decision to sell the family’s former dwelling was “bittersweet,” but noted that she was excited to settle down in her new house with her 12-year-old daughter, Mia.

“It’s bittersweet but it’s time for a change and Mia and I are so excited to have a new place to decorate and make a home and now I have a large space for those grand babies,” she said.
The listing, which is held by Tristan X. Mosher, of Coldwell Banker Apex, makes no secret of its impressive heritage, describing the home as a “chance to own a special piece of East Texas history, the childhood home of NFL star Patrick Mahomes!”
“Tucked away on a quiet street at 3110 Oleander Dr., this home offers both privacy and convenience, with easy access to local shops, dining, and schools,” the description continues.
“Inside, you’ll love the beautifully updated kitchen featuring new countertops, a stylish backsplash, KitchenAid appliances, and modern lighting that’s perfect for hosting friends and family.
“The home also boasts refreshed showers, a spacious backyard, and is located within the sought-after Whitehouse school district.”
The sale of the home marks the end of an era for Randi—who will now focus her efforts on turning her newly built dwelling into a cozy abode for herself and her daughter, having been surprised with the new property back in March.

At the time, the 52-year-old took to Instagram to reveal her shock and awe over the heartfelt gift, thanking her sons and her daughter-in-law for “this incredible blessing,” while sharing several images of herself posing outside the four-bedroom abode.
“Home is where the heart is—and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing,” she wrote.
“Being a Mom and Grandi is the greatest joy of my life, and I’m so thankful for the love that surrounds me every day. Here’s to new memories, laughter, and love in this beautiful new home!”
In one of the photos shared in the post, Randi could be seen standing outside her new front door, posing with the keys in her hand—while the other image captured a full view of the property, as well as the manicured lawn surrounding the front path to the door.
The home, which was completed only this year, has fresh flower beds lining the exterior front wall, and two newly planted trees line the path to the front door from the road.
The home boasts a formal dining room, a butler’s pantry, and a primary suite with a spa bathroom complete with a floating tub.

Randi later took to her Instagram Stories to share more details about the big reveal, dubbing it the “surprise of my life.”
Jackson, who works primarily as a social media influencer, chimed in in the comments section of the post to write, “Love you momma.”
In the weeks since, Randi has shared several glimpses inside the property, including a sweet video of her daughter doing the “Speak Your Mind” ice bucket challenge in their backyard.
Before moving to her new property, Randi previously opened up about the hardships of living a life in the public eye, explaining in a 2024 episode of “The Mom Game Podcast” that she and her daughter rarely ventured into the local neighborhood out of fear that they would be stared at or approached by strangers.
“As much as I say that we’re blessed and Patrick’s living his dream, it has been the hardest seven years of my adult life,” she shared. “It’s been really hard to juggle. … I’ve cried a lot. I’ve struggled with it.
“We just want to be normal and go and have dinner, and we don’t do that. My daughter and I, living in our town, we rarely go.”
